The Dubai Investments Green Run aims to support and raise awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability and conservation. It seeks to celebrate the green initiatives, commitment and awareness programs in the UAE.

The Dubai Investments Green Run aims to create awareness on the environment’s vulnerability for which we are all responsible. It wants to encourage the community to commit to a sustainable future for future generations.

The event is about educating everyone that sustainability means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs. Making smart ‘green’ choices that affect every aspect of life.

Run Greener

Dubai Investments Green Run seeks to eradicate discarded water cups and plastic bottles.

We are inviting participants to bring their own re-usable, refillable water bottles that can be filled at the water stations situated at the start/finish areas and along the route. Our hydration partner, Al Ain Water, working with Dubai Investments will supply water from state of the art hydration stations. In keeping with our commitment to environmental sustainability, Dubai Investments Green Run will not be supplying water in single use plastic bottles.

There are recycling opportunities on site during the event. Participants are encouraged to bring items that can be recycled, including plastics, clothing, shoes and electronics, as there is a recycling bus to process items.

Dubai Investments Green Run offers awards in recognition of participants and vendors who contribute to the event sustainability as well as trophies for the organization and school with the best ‘Green Message’

Registration closes on 11th February or when the Dubai Investments Green Run capacity is full.

All participants will receive t-shirt made from recycled materials on the event day during registration from 5:00 am to 6:30 am.

All successfully registered participants will receive their bib and timing chip on the event day during registration from 5:00 am to 6:30 am

EVENT PROGRAM
5:00 AM - Green Run Village Opens / Registration Opens
6:30 AM - Registration Closes
6:45 AM - Run Briefing / Warm-up
7:00 AM - Start 5km and 3km runs
8:30 AM - 5km Awards Ceremony
10:00 AM - Dubai Investments Green Run Celebration Ends

Please Note:
Participants are advised to arrive at least one hour before the run starts.

THE RUN ROUTE
The run distances includes, a 3KM fun run/walk and timed 5KM run.
All runs will start and finish at the same location, the Dubai Investments Head Office.
There will hydration stations, ambulance and paramedics, support vehicles and crew along the route.
Runners are to follow the route signage and marshal’s instructions.

Bicycles, skates, scooters, roller blades and all forms of wheeled devices, motorized and/or non-motorized, are strictly prohibited. However, people of determination may use wheelchairs. Strollers are permitted for children below the age of 4.

Pets and companion animals are strictly not allowed in the Dubai Investments Green Run.
